Flushable wipes cause damage to municipal sewage systems even if they do not damage your pipes. You should only flush toilet paper.

We've always used TP. I wet it a little if necessary.

Yea, those things are NOT flushable.

Not an answer to your question, but you might want to try getting a toilet attachment bidet for kids and adults alike. They are cheap and easy to install (seriously easy).

We just used toilet paper when they started to go on the potty and flushed it. Before that the dirty wipes when in a grocery bag with the dirty diaper - tied it and tossed immediately in the outdoor trash.

I figured they are going to have to get used to toilet paper at some point. They won't have wipes at preschool and lord help you if you run out of them when your out doing errands.

Trash, you never ever flush wipes, baby or toddler.

Or switch to tp and put a little warm water on it if it helps her feel cleaner.

What did you do with poop wipes when your child pooped in the diaper? Just fold them over themselves and place them in the trash. Despite the word "flushable" on the label, flushable wipes are not good for your plumbing.

They are bad for your pipes. It doesn't matter that they say flushable. They are not. I know this because I ended up with a very expensive plumbing issue from them (just two caused the problem). Never ever flush them.

I kept the Diaper Genie in the bathroom for all wipes and night-time pull-ups/diapers. Actually comes in handy for the occasional sanitary pad as well.

Get those little doggie-do plastic bags and stash them in there before throwing in the garbage.

DD just started pooping in the potty, so i use a baby wipe to wipe her.
What do I do with it after? garbage seems a little gross and flushing seems a little bad for plumbing.
