Most people that submit a WISC are accepted on appeal, but I suspect people with lower WISC scores pre-select: they do not submit the appeal paperwork.
If you want to go for a time that is not as busy, I would do march or april. Parental refer, and you have your new info for appeal. If the child has a FSIQ of less than 125, don't appeal (unless what is dragging it down is processing speed)
