I had one with a 2.5 gallon bucket and that worked pretty well in my previous basement. Until it just stopped working. The one I have now is smaller - 1.5L - (home depot was out of bigger ones) but it's a workhorse. I have to empty it twice a day. Basement is probably 600 SF. I'll try to remember to look up the brand tonight. You're probably safe with whatever you find at Home Depot or Lowe's.

It's beginning to smell damp down there. I think I need a dehumidifier. What size would I need for 275 sq ft of space? Any recommendations of a good basement Unit? Thanks
