My neighbors have a copy, but we also have a hide a key in the shed. Since you have no shed you could put the magnetic hide a key in a gutter, or under a pot.

It's been great because once I locked myself out of my car. Neighbor was able to get in my house, get my spare car key, and drive over to give it to me.

We don't hide an extra key. We also don't lock the door handle from the inside though, and our doors don't auto-lock. We are in the habit of having to manually lock them.

In your case, if I needed to, I'd do a coded lockbox (they lock over like a pipe or something sturdy) in the shed, if you leave that unlocked. Or even if you don't, I'd do a key to the shed somewhere outside and then the key to the house in the shed in the lockbox.

I'll never tell.

We taped each of our two keys in separate places inside the garage - so behind wooden frame posts. Then we forgot we'd done that.

We also have a lockbox

Gave one to the neighbors on either side.

Leave the key inside a lock box with a combination. Then hide the lock box somewhere.

We don't, but every year I lock myself out once and that requires my husband to drive home from work and let us in. I just assume leaving a key outside is just asking to be robbed. But, there have to be some good ideas.

We have an unattached house with porch and a shed. No deck.
