I love Houzz, but never have purchased from it OP. Recently I read from a woman who purchased cabinets and only got half her order, that Houzz publish the great/good reviews largely. If it bad review of a business comes in, the writer ofter has to inquire about the delay of their review, if it even gets posted. So as they say, buyer beware. Thanks for letting us know, PP.
Yes, my review never published. In my review, I had raised specific examples of situations between the contractor and the decorator, where the decorator was clearly making decisions that were in HER best interests but not in keeping with cost efficiencies. I took a lot of time to draft my review, because I wanted people to understand my specific concerns with the decorator and to not feel as if I were being unfair.
To clarify it was $30,000 in design fees
and purchases, which is (as I understand the industry) where most of the money is earned.
