Jordan Jones at JDS Home Improvement, 240.388.8275. We recently had an egress window put in, although not with walk-out stairs. Ours just had a window well with ladder. It cost $6800, which included an extra $500 because our older MoCo house didn't have drain tile, so he had to build a french drain system. He.handled all the permits.

Jordan does a ton of egress windows and exuded a real expertise. We had some small issues with the cleanup/finishing work, but nothing serious. The window is great and we've had zero water issues despite some heavy rains.

I am look at a home without egress window or walk-out stairs. If you got one done in the recent past, could you give me the cost of the job? Also could you recommend the contractors. We need to get it done with permits.
