I remember reading a profile of some political figure in Esquire in the very early 2000s and asking my then-boyfriend what a Blackberry was.

Biore nose strips. My friends and I were obsessed. Still get a nasty kick out of using them. All the gunk on the strip... ew.

Call waiting. I thought it was so rude.

I remember the switch in my office from rotary phones to push buttons. Also the fax machine in 1991. Yes I'm old.

I remember the 1st time I used the Internet. I was analyzing a piece of software at work... NetScape, it turned the usual searches on the Internet we did using something called gopher, into a graphical search instead of text.

I told my boss... This is the greatest thing I have ever seen ever. We need to implement this.

My H use to spend hours every weekend in book stores.... I hate book stores (I'm dyslexic).

I told my H I had used the most amazing software ever and he was going to love it, it is like having a book store in your house but better.

I also said..."If I could only figure out how to invest in "the internet" we could be rich."

I remember going to my dad's office and seeing the computer there. It must have been around 1979. I played "little brick out".

I remember getting an Estee Lauder treatment with alpha hydroxy in it. All my friends in college loved it. Made me break out initially, but then overall my skin got better.

Yes. I remember when a few of my coworkers started getting iPhones in 2008 and 2009 and I was amazed! I thought anyone with an iPhone was super important and cool. Now they're ubiquitous.

Also, digital cameras.

Yes, digital cameras. I actually liked the ritual of getting my snapshots developed. I liked actual 35 mm film. No one prints out photos anymore.

I'm 45.

I was telling my husband about the time I first saw a cell phone...well actually it was a car phone. It was in a friends dads volvo. The year was around 1992 I think. I remember thinking "why the heck would you need to call someone while your driving???" LOL! I also remember the time I first saw granite countertops in the mid 1990s. I thought it was really "harsh" looking and not very homey. Funny how time changes your perceptions on things.
