They are asbestos linoleum tile in our basement. We need to get them removed because we are having a drainage system out in. We don't necessarily need the entire floor done, just the area around the perimeter. But u would eventually like to have tile put down for a bathroom and laundry room so those areas will need removal as well.

Roof tiles? we had those removed.

Is there a reason it needs to be removed? Our contractor told us that unless it is cut or damaged, it poses no health hazard and the easiest solution is to cover it up.

Anyone have old asbestos tile removed? Can you recommend a company? How much did it cost? TIA!
