I'm curious. Why?

I see it being most effective for a younger crowd, and even then I see it as better for hookups than actual relationships. Of the men I know personally who are my age and use tinder, they all use it for thrills. I'm not against online dating, but no Tinder for me.

+1. It's a total hookup app.

Isn't it linked to Facebook? If so, how can married people use it?

I am divorced and don't use it. It is still mostly a hook up site (although I know a few people who met their spouses on it). The older the age of the user, the more likely they are to be cheating. If you want legitimate relationships (long term) try OKCupid. POF, or Match. No one really uses eHarmony anymore.

How did you know that they were cheating?

Divorced. Used it. Got lots of dates. But every other man was cheating on a spouse or SO.

I used it and met lots of people, some weird, some not. I finally clicked with one and we have been dating for 6 months. I say it's worth a try. And I'm late 30's.

Sarah, Ty and Mel on 107.3 every Wednesday around 7:30 make a bit out of profiles on there. They find people and read the profiles that are really out there. There are some people that have no original material and use it as part of their pitch.

I don't anymore--in a relationship--but liked it fine in the past.

There is an extremely low barrier to entry and--more importantly--permanent exit. Easy to try for an evening and see what you think.

I'm wondering also. The better-Louise King guys on Match are way too flighty. It seems like all the "paperwork" of setting up a meeting is too much for them.

This is for divorced/single people only. Do you like it? Would you recommend?
