I don't mind doing laundry or folding it. I DETEST putting it away.

Laundry like dish washing and cooking is an everyday chore in my house. I have tried all combinations of doing laundry and have realized that I need to do it every day.

I have also replaced all the colored bedlinens, towels, kitchen towels and bath mats with plain white ones. I can do them together in the hottest water and bleach, so it is easier to manage.

+1. Good idea on getting all white stuff!!

Hate both dishes and laundry, and I have piles of both waiting for me as I procrastinate on DCUM.

Agree! The most important thing on DCUM is that we find a way to criticize each other on even the most innocuous threads as soon as possible.

Well, if you want the laundry to end, go nudist. I'm happy to do laundry in my house.

Always the laundry. Never ending pile of laundry. Then shit like the AC condenser clogs so water overflows on the floor of the laundry room and causes MORE laundry. Or at least a pressing need to wash those now soaked sheets that were sitting there for a week or two because they were the least important thing that needed to be washed.

I don't love dishes, unloading the dishwasher never seems to happen until I have a handful of dishes in the sink to be loaded.

I seriously hate cooking. Love to bake though.

That's why we use paper plates sometimes.

Laundry is my favorite chore since it's super easy. As a working mother of four, I do a couple loads every night--towels and clothing. I stopped separating clothing (pretty much stopped buying white clothing), and I dont fold laundry during the week. Instead, everything gets put in a basket and put back in the appropriate bedroom.

PSA: Under Armour doesn't require ironing (thank you, Kevin Plank!).

Dishwasher. I hate emptying the dishwasher to a ridiculous level. Dishes pile up and the whole problem could be solved if I just spent 5 minutes emptying the dishwasher and I just ignore it because I hate hate hate it.

What chore do you just hate doing because the second it is done, it's undone?

I stay on top of laundry. Do it 3 times a week, like clockwork. Not a big family. And by the time the buzzer goes off on the dryer, invariably - there is already new laundry piling up in the hampers. It makes me insane.

I need to let it go. Any tips for getting over that "this task is never done" feeling? Maybe some helpful saying, like "Leave tomorrow's work for tomorrow." Not very helpful. Ugh.
