I put a small brushed nickel curtain rod under my top cabinet near the sink for my dry towels. I mounted two brushed nickel curtain tie backs on each side of the cabinets near the sink for damp towels.

Mine gets damp, but never "wet." I hang it on the refrigerator door. In previous homes, I hung my kitchen towel on the oven door.

The reason for counter is because when the dishwasher is open, the towel hits the floor.

That's why DW keeps yelling at me that I'm getting water on the floor--because my hands drip between the sink and the refrigerator where the towel is. She's not convinced by my reading of the Constitution.

You don't even need a high-end Bosch to get the handle. I bought a lovely stainless steel Maytag and I specifically picked the model with the bar handle on it so I could hang my towels. I also use the oven door handle. Before that, I put some hooks on the side of the cabinet over the sink and hung them there (I didn't really like how that worked, though.) My FIL put a little towel bar on the inside of the cabinet door under the sink, but then you have to open a cabinet to get to the towel.
For dish rags, you can buy a little hanging bar with suction cups that attach to the inside wall of your sink. Always give them a very hard wringing so they aren't drippy.

How wet are they? Wet dishrag I would hang in the faucet. I always have a towel on the stove, and I've never had an issue. It's never been that wet though.

Just completed a kitchen remodel. in previous kitchen we ruined the front of the stove hanging wet towels on the handle. Also don't want to ruin cabinet fronts. Suggestions for places to hang kitchen towels and wet dishrags?
