Are you sure you're ovulating? I had somewhat similar periods and determined that I wasn't ovulating.

It may be low thyroid. Have you had your thyroid checked? I'm hypothyroid and have periods like this. Even when on synthroid.

You might have had very early miscarriages...I think it's good you're seeing the doc.

Subject: TTC and heavy clumpy periods
I have a call into my doc. But thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has had a similar experience. I've been using opks and timing sex with ovulation for the past 4-5 months with no luck. My last two periods have been VERY different. Bright red blood with lots of clots and clumps. Period stays heavy for 7 days. I used to have heavy periods the first day or two and then light for a day or two but nothing like this. Any thoughts?
