Try showerrods.com They should have a straight tension rod at 72+
or look up other options they may have
I have it stretched over 100 inches and it definitely sags without some kind of support in the middle. Fortunately I was able to use some picture hanging wire to anchor the middle to the existing blinds base (not the actual blinds, that would probably be a bad idea). At 72 inches it may or may not sag badly enough to need a support.

This one is the best, it is spring loaded so it will not fall if the wall expand/contracts during the seasons
If you are putting up sheers or very light curtains, that might work. But I can't imagine that a tension rod of that length would hold up drapes.

I'm renting but need to black out master bedroom . Where can I find a 72inch plus tension rod? I'd like to use a thinner window appropriate rod vs a shower rod.
