My old school was about $250/month for 2 mornings a week. My new school (not Montessori, but similar) is more -- about $800/month for 5 mornings a week.
That is really expensive.
PP here. I agree, but it is what it is. It's a great school, and although we kind of regret the move now based on finances, I think it'll be good for our kid in the long-run. I didn't realize how much more expensive it was than our old school at the time we decided on it (just didn't do the math as well as I should have). However, it's also in DC, whereas the other schools were suburban, which I think makes a difference as well in cost.
