Philly Zoo - fewer animals, but more interactive stuff: goat petting/feeding area, more zookeeper talks on a regular basis, carousel, swan boats, horse rides, camel rides, a miniature train ride (note, all of the rides can cost extra). The Philly Zoo can be done completely in a half a day.
If you have younger kids, the Philly Zoo is great and worth it.
