I don't where you got that idea, my friend, but you're buying into a complete lie. The name has nothing to do the slaves, hangings or racism. Low hanging fruit was the easiest to harvest and that's where the name came from. You should stay away from those liberal websites that think every supposed form of speech of which they're ignorant is rooted in slavery. Try checking your facts.

That certainly isn’t what it means now. Low hanging fruit is easy and accessible, typically not the best quality. It’s a perfectly acceptable term.

I’ve heard the term “strange fruit” used to refer to lynching victims. There is an anti-lynching protest song by Billie Holliday by that name.
