There are different kinds of people pleasers -- I'm definitely not this sort. I'm the sort that drives myself crazy trying to maintain harmony on all fronts -- usually screwing myself in the process.

Do you realize that being overly apologetic all the time is actually kind of off putting? I love my poor sister but she is so over dramatic and apologetic when she has to turn me down or can't talk. It makes me want to say: I don't actually care that much; I was just inquiring to be polite. The ironic part is obvs she thinks she is behaving sensitively. Does anyone else see this behavior in people pleasers?
