We have lab mixes and use a Kong Wobbler, regular Kongs, the Cube, Grass Ball from JW and a mini muffin tin. Sometimes I will spread the meal on the garage floor or back deck, even the kitchen floor if I plan to wash it that day.

When your dog pukes, immediately move him away from the puke. Even if you have to put the leash on him and attach it to a doorknob. Or even if you have to put him in the bathroom.

DH's family have always had labs. They say that labs have no sense of portion control and their puppies often eat until they're sick. One of their dogs ate an entire loaf of bread and was visibly so fat it couldn't move until it was digested. All of it is strange to me because I swear my dog is slightly anorexic.

Thanks. I am going to try to portion out his food tonight in a muffin baking pan and see if that helps. I will try those feeders if this does not work.

I have had success with both the northmate interactive slow pet feeder and the bob a lot. The former is easier to use.

We have a 6 month old lab mix dog. We just got him. About once every 10 days he vomits up his food which is a very high quality kibble. We have put tennis balls in his dish and even one of the rotating things to help slow his eating. He still threw up this morning and then ate it before we could get a bag to clean it up. We are thinking about getting one of the puzzle feeders. Anyone else have any other advice?
