Op here. Thanks for the support in such a difficult period in our lives. 
I really like Daniel Tiger, and when ds was littler he would throw toys when frustrated or mad, so I got him to "grrrr" instead. I think it's brilliant!

You could have the 3 yo who's decided to talk like the minions. The only thing worse than listening to minion-speak is listening to a 3 yo trying to do minion-speak..."ooga bug lerg BANANA oh blugga buh."

Mine has decided she is a dinosaur. It's alternatively hilarious and annoying. I just roll with it and figure that she's move on to something else soon.

Bahahaha. DD is addicted to Daniel Tiger. DH and I loathe it. When DH and I annoyed by people we chant the inane Daniel Tiger messages to each other "Honey, when you feel so mad that you want to roar, take a deep breath and count to four."

Curious George is so much better of a show than Daniel Tiger. The monkey talk won't last forever, and someday you will laugh about it. Don't take it away as a punishment, your child obviously loves it.

He makes monkey type noises. It's like he is trying to articulate words but can't quite get there.

What does Curious George sound like? We read the books a lot but I don't remember him having dialogue. Is it the movie? Your subject line literally made me LOL BTW.

He's been doing it for weeks, but somehow we didn't make the connection until recently. I just thought he was making random noises at first. We've been trying to tell him to stop but it's getting nowhere. So far. Glad to hear he's not the only one though!

My DS totally did ttis at 3! It's a phase. Cut out the curious George on Netflix. Try Daniel Tiger or something else. Mine didn't even watch much but the voice still stuck!

Ignore the behavior and only respond to the child when he or she talks in a normal voice. Compliment the child on their normal voice when they use it, lots of positive reinforcement. Prepare yourself for some tantrums.

My 3 year old talks like Curious George all the time and it's starting to drive us crazy. Anybody else's kid do this? How do you get them to stop?
