Really? A young man, due to no fault of his own, is not a labeled sex offender. How much more could it be for her? She's now a "victim", and I'm sure will be treated as such.
If this was my daughter.. No social media. No computers, Internet (even Apple TV) in her room. All passwords, etc. provided to me. Open door policy for at least the next 2 years.
Volunteer work at a women's shelter.
IMHO, parents are a little bit to blame, teens lie, yes, but she also had access and time to have sex with an unknown boy. She'd also be a lot more accountable for her time.
I was 14 once and alternated between explored and toed lines I maybe shouldn't have. This goes beyond that.
