If I were to spend upwards of $500 on a decor item, I would buy more of a one of a kind art piece---maybe a wood carving or a piece of pottery from a local artist. I prefer to support local artisans/craft people. Just a thought. Those rooms just don't look very interesting to me . . .

I like them - some of the ones in the pictures are really nice. The problem is that the cheap ones look really cheap. I am not sure the expensive ones (which can cost $500+) are worthwhile unless it really goes with your décor. I really like the black one in one of those photos though.

Make sure the kids don't run around in the house or buy the cheap ones.

I'm trying hard not to laugh. If you have room for this junk, your house is too big!!

Seen like a waste of space to me. I'd expect someone's granny to be in there.

What are they for? Or are they purely decorative?

I think they're pretty traditional and timeless.

I like the smaller ones but do not understand the purpose of the large floor things. That is weird.

I have been thinking of buying some for interior decorating in my home, but I worry that they have become too trendy and we'll all look back in a few years and wonder what to do with them. At the same time the good ones are expensive. Is this a passing trend or something that actually could stand the test of time?
