Comcast $50/mo, locked in for 2 years. Then DirecTV, $32/month, locked in for 1 year then no contract after, will have to renegotiate then.

Both Comcast and RCN are offering deals on that "bundle" for $45/month right now.

What???? comcast quoted me yesterday $140!!!

Take a look at their website - it's advertised under the bundles... $45 for basic cable + regular speed internet (10 mps) or $55 for regular cable + super internet (75 mps). The first deal expires Friday, but the second is good through the end of September.

Who remembers the days of $19.95 dialup?

Now we pay $50 to $70 at home, plus data plans for our phones. It's crazy.

I drive by their office everyday but never hear about their services! How is the reliability and speed?

Cheap internet is an oxymoron. They have a crazy monopoly and they pay lots to lobby so it's never broken up.

Americans pay double to triple what Europeans pay for internet.

FIOS at what speed?

I still pay a high cost for internet, but it beats the outrageous cable bill.

There is a 2 year 50 a month if you lock in 2 years. You have to take the tv with it and the rate goes to 70 after 2 years. This is FIOS.

I just went through this exercise and could not find high speed internet for less than $70-85/month - tried Cox, Verizon Fios, and Comcast.

I don't have access to Time Warner, AT&T, or Google Fiber so was sort of stuck.

I'm so sad to lose Clear Internet - it was $50/month and fast enough to stream Netflix :/

Want to get rid of our cable, but internet alone is still $75+/month. What's the cheapest internet service that covers Montgomery County? Is there some secret cheap FIOS plan that I can ask for?
