We found the psychoeducational testing very helpful in forming the IEP.
DS is 8 now and got a neuropsych at 7. The results were consistent with the results he got when he was 4, including the IQ score, but he was also diagnosed with ADHD, combined type, in addition to ASD.
DS does well at school, socially and academically, fully mainstreamed and the IEP gets the main credit.
