5-day cruise, sailed to Nassau and their private island. The food was...fine. I'd compare it to food at a big hotel wedding. Some things were excellent, some terrible, most average.

Worth the money? I guess so. We all had a nice time. The kids loved meeting the Disney characters and we didn't wait in terribly long lines to do it. The shows were nice, the beach was lovely, they have free first-run movies. And there were a million activities. We did a few but could have easily done more. I've never done a cruise before so don't have much to compare it to.

Not op, but went on the dream in may. I was actually surprised to not see a lot of fat people ala the parks. I had my hypothesis about this but I'll get stoned here lol

I never really noticed the heat but we only got off the ship at their private island. Folks who got off at Nassau said it was brutal. On ship, the decks got really hot. But otherwise we stayed in the shade and didn't have issues.

Why did your 3 year old not like the kids club?

We're headed on one in 2 weeks with a 3 year old. I'm hoping she likes it - at least enough for us to go to the adult only restaurant one night.

I did the Wonder and my friend did the Dream at the same time. The two older boats have less pools and all boats have different shows. The two new boats both have a Bibidi Boppeti boutique. Our kids all did ok with the dinners but they are long. WE went in January out of Miami and because it went south to Cozumel, it was warm enough.

Would you do it again? Did you think it was worth the cost? If you could have waited for until the kids were a little older would you have? Will you go again?

Kids are 6 and 3. We got tickets through Costco on the Disney Dream. We had a balcony; we didn't spend a ton of time out there but it was nice to watch the ship sail away from port and it was a nice place to hang clothes. Also made the room seem less claustrophobic.

The kids loved meeting the Disney characters all around the ship. We got tickets for Anna/Elsa but everything else we just waited in line for. They also loved the nighttime shows and the pools. The 3-year-old didn't love the kids club. And both kids could have could have done without the very long dinners.

Which ship were you on? We have only done the fantasy and worry our kids will be disappointed in the older ships

Where did you end up getting tickets? (I assume you shopped around, right?) And also did you have a window, a balcony or none? And did it matter?
How old are your kids? What did they like the most? The least?
