I have a 4 month old and I'm ready to move him into his own room. His room will be a guest room/ nursery for the time being. I only have one good way to fit the crib and queen size bed. The only problem is the bed will be over the only air vent in the bedroom. I have been looking at vent extenders but they don't seem long enough. The vent is at the top of the bed so the extender will have to run all the way under the bed lengthwise. The vent is only about a foot from the edge of the bed width wise but the vent doesn't face that way so the extenders aren't going to work. Does that even make sense? Is there anything I can do? DH is really against just putting the bed over the vent (in a bed frame) bc he thinks the room will be uncomfortable.
