It also cooks pizzas very quickly and cooks brownies in 20 minutes.

We did almost the exact same thing as this PP (I guess the OP's option 3), except induction instead of gas (we don't have a gas line to our house, otherwise that would have been my choice). Loving the Advantium- I use it for most oven (conduction cooking) stuff, although I haven't really used it for Speed Cook yet- mainly because I need to read the instructions!! First time having a warmer too, which is also awesome.

We are going with rangetop, double wall oven and built in microwave. I find the full ranges to be so expensive for what they are!

There are other models more expensive - we went with the middle priced one that still did everything we wanted it to do but didn't break the bank.

I regularly cook thanksgiving/christmas for 12 folks - never have I felt like I needed more than I have in terms of oven space - its more about planning the timing on things than wanting the oven to take up valuable space. Now with the speed oven I have actually accomplished 2 things - I can bake items (small scale) like cookies, pies etc (one standard cooking sheet fits in the speed oven) in that and still have the oven for the turkey - but I have maintained workable counter space and sufficient cabinets without making having to give anything up. Its worth taking a closer look to see if it works for you for you.

Thanks! What kind of speed oven did you go with?

We're doing a kitchen renovation. I’m trying to decide what range & wall oven arrangement we “need”. We are probably getting a thermador or wolf 36 inch cooktop or range. I would say most of the time we are fine with one oven (holidays being a primary exception). However, I do love to bake (though have done much less since having our youngest child (who is 1)).

Our options are 1) range and wall oven and built in microwave; 2) range and wall speed oven; 3) cooktop with wall oven and wall speed oven.

Thoughts? I’m worried that option 1 is overkill and we would do fine with 2 or 3 and have extra storage space.
