+1

With that said she could be following some "rules" advice of not being too available or even thinking this cousin is some figment of your imagination to ditch her.

I mean she may well just want to catch up on chores/TV/etc. on Thursday -- I'd propose a second time and if a date doesn't materialize by the end of next week she isn't that interested.

I'd give it one more try. If she is "busy" and does not counter with another date, it's done.

Yes this is what I was thinking the whole time.

Ok so I'll text her an inside joke that we have right now. She usually responds to my texts rather quickly as well. I'll roll the dice...

Nah. If she's single and interested in someone, she'd make the time.

I need to leave my house at 6 something to get to work. There's no way I can go out two night in a row and be coherent on the third day.

Some people don't like to go out every night. Women like to look and feel good on a date. If she knows she's going to be hungover of gired, then she's being respectful of both your time and her needs. That's healthy. Sheesh.

but her excuse was not that she would be busy that night, but she already knows that she will be too tired to go out that night.

Wtf...she turns you down because she knows that's not a good night, and you think it's over? That makes no sense.

Thanks guys, this on line dating is kinda rough to someone who has never used it before.

sorry OP. she's not that interested and might be seeing/dating someone else too. It sucks that this is the new normal but just take it all in stride and move on.

Yep, it's done. She's not interested, move on. Excuses are a woman's way of kindly rejecting.

So I just started this online dating thing and met a girl. We had a great first date and hit it off. I took her out for drinks and then went salsa dancing. Went to dinner the next week (made out). Followed that up with a day date at a museum the following weekend. Made out again with me doing a bit of groping. We had our fourth date Saturday and I took her to a game bar with table tennis, shuffle board, etc. Followed up by dinner. My cousin is in town from out of country this week and I told her upfront that I have to get her after dinner since she is from out of the country. Anyway as we leave I told her I'd like to see her again this week since I should be pretty open.

I suggest Thursday and she said she is going out to her friends party on Wednesday and is going to be too tired on Thursday to hang out. I'm back in the dating game after a while. Is this relationship done? I kinda don't want to text her if she is giving me hints that we are not going anywhere.
