The show has lost somewhat of its luster since the class has been reduced to the three. But it's still my favorite. Elliot is generally funny and a really good interviewer. He's a smart guy for sure. But it's not the same show as it used to be.

I always find it weird how Tyler can be working there and what his friends and family think. Go to a school like GW only to end up on the radio? Does anyone know how he started on the show?

Just want to say I love you guys, I thought I was the only 40 -something woman listening to Elliot and have been since the late 90s. His show is awesome. I only don't listen when they go way deep into a hockey interview or something.

No, PP. Craig was an on-air personality, but with a smaller role. Wikipedia (yes!) says he was a producer, which is the same job title given to Tyler. It says he resigned on-air in August 2007 after a brief argument with Flounder.

I forgot about Craig! Was he the "serious" management guy at the station who Elliot was always blaming for one thing or another? I am such a sucker, I assumed that (and the picking on flounder) was always just part of Elliot's sctick and that they actually all like each other off air. I stopped listening for several years and when I returned Flounder was gone. And I guess Craig, too. I do love Tyler.

I am pretty sure Craig left before the child was adopted. Craig had announced their intent, but I don't think they had gone to China to get the baby.

Craig pretty much blew up at the end of the show one day, said forget it, and was gone the next day. I was listening that morning and thought "WOW, what just happened???". His wife was pregnant at the time.

Craig also left the show due to issues with Eliot. I think it stemmed from jokes about one of his kids being adopted.

He looks like he now works doing his own gigs and also works at 107.3. I would imagine that it is very difficult working for any of the big radio talk show guys. They all have big egos and personalities.

I believe he does mashups and DJs but doesn't have his own show. And whatever it was that caused the schism was definitely bad at the time...not an amicable parting of ways. He was just gone one day.

I don't know but as much as I loved Flounder back in the day, I love Tyler even more. He's hilarious.

Knowing now that there are such avid followers of DC radio shows I figured I'd ask since I've always been curious. I actually stopped listening to Elliot and switched to Kane when this happened because it bothered me so much. They seemed like BFF and then he was just gone!
