Cocoa is the closest and it's nice. But it's still an hour or more drive.

We were just at Blizzard Beach this week and had a great time

Have you thought about doing a disney water park day instead? We went to blizzard beach over spring break and loved it! Really well designed and a nice change of pace from the parks.

+1

That's the closest. I'm a beach snob having grown up on an island, but you should know that the beaches are full of old wrinkly people, some in speedos.

We will be in the Disney area and would like to do a day trip to the beach (if possible). We will have a rental car and aren't traveling with any beach "stuff"...Is there a beach we can drive to, park at, rent beach chairs and an umbrella, and maybe even shower at afterwards? Thanks for any advice.
