Not OP, but Jeff made me laugh twice with his smite joke today.

Anyway, what I said was that when I said you should start new threads, I didn't mean to copy a post with multiple quoted messages directly from the locked thread. We'll have to agree to disagree about the appropriate forum for the topic. But, mostly, I couldn't resist the opportunity to smite a thread.

Hey, I'm the OP of http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/487800.page. I started a new thread because in the locked one you said it had gotten off topic and if we wanted to discuss these things we should... start new threads. I didn't know you didn't mean it. I do try to follow the rules around here.

I didn't start it in religion because I don't think it's a question pertinent only to religion. It's a question of how people who want to live in society together deal with conflicting beliefs, God-related or not.
