I've been meaning to replace the rain boots he grew out of, but haven't yet.

Dressy mocs.
Dress lace-up shoes for choir.
Sneakers.
Keen water sandals.
Rainboots.
Snowboots.
Leather slippers for the house in winter.

DD has approximately the same, girl version.
So do I, minus the Keen and adding cute sandals.

1 pair of sneakers plus a pair of either boots or sandals. Probably not enough.

1 pair sneakers, 1 pair snow boots, 1 pair of Tevas.

He got a new pair of sneakers around May. He'll get a new pair for school. He's got snow boots and flip flops. In November we'll buy him dress shoes.

So basically, in the winter two pairs of shoes are in rotation and in the summer two pairs of shoes are in rotation.

1 pair of regular sandals
1 pair of water shoes

We buy dress shoes on an as needed basis. Most boys at our church wears sneakers with chinos anyhow.

I've bought rain boots before but rarely used them. I dont buy them anymore.

How many shoes do you have for your elementary aged boys? I have a rising first grader and feel like we are way over doing on the shoes...we have rain boots, snow boots, crocs, athletic sneakers, casual/dress sneaker, and then a dressier shoe. I feel like a winter bootshoe would be great too but that is 7 pairs of shoes for a 6 yo. Would be interested to see what others do.
