My brother had a dentist suggest it, pull a molar and let the wisdom tooth move over. Because his mouth is too small. He declined, and still has all of them.

21:00 here. My dentist didn't perform any sort of procedure. The tooth just grew in.

I had to have a molar extracted as a teenager, and my dentist allowed my wisdom tooth to grow in its place. Turned out fine.

Wisdom teeth are bigger than others, I don't think it would work. It would mess up your entire bite! They don't put just any crown or implant in your mouth- it's molded and shaved to fit in perfectly.

Ok. I am trying to find a dentist now in my new city.... I will go in and hopefully they can reattach it. I am just worried that at this point the tooth is too shaved down and it will keep falling out

I also don't think my dentist did the work correctly, I feel like my bite is off now, so I am considering asking to have the crown completely redone... it's so stressful

I have had a ton of issues with my teeth, particularly in the back. After a root canal and shaving down the damaged part, my dentist told me that she wasn't sure whether the crown would take

That was about 5 months ago- I have since moved states so can no longer see them

Anyway, the cap just fell off


Someone mentioned to me that there was a chance that a dentist could take my wisdom teeth and kind of pull them down, once this tooth is extracted, to prevent having to get an implant.

Could that work?
