In Step, Social Confidence group for Girls/Teens

It's not really a mother-daughter thing, but the parent (adult) does play a role during the parent meetings (last 10 min. of the session (not with the girls in the room).

It's a series of 16 sessions.

I am looking to take a Mother/Daughter type self-defense class with my 14 year old niece. I am also open to finding just one for her. I am looking for less of a physical, karate type class (although physicality cam certainly be part of it) and for more of anew assertiveness and confidence building class, i.e., how to handle agressive behavior, how to project confidence, how to say no, how to identify potentially troublesome encounters, how to navigate dating, etc. I tool something like this in college and it was so helpful. Any recommendations dating for classes or instructors wod be great. Thanks!
