+1 for Bright Horizons, great hours and smaller class sizes.

We also would recommend A Child's Place at Hollin Hall, classes are much bigger but they are a little more budget friendly.

Try Bright Horizons at Mt Vernon Hospital. My 2 yo goes there and loves it. Small class size and the kids seem to be having a ball every time I drop by.

I would be willing to drive to Old Town as well but would prefer Fort Hunt/Mount Vernon as that is way closer to me and we wouldn't have to deal with Old Town traffic. But if we can't find anything around us then we will definitely make the drive to Old Town.

Oh, sorry, you need full-time. I'm only familiar with Old Town daycares.

Hi ... I was wondering if anybody could give me some recommendations for pre-schools in the Fort Hunt/Mount Vernon/Alexandria area. I would need full time pre-school for a 2 year old. We are looking for something that doesn't have too big of a class size. I have not heard great things about Bluebird Academy with their large class sizes.

Any recommendations or insight would be helpful. TIA!
