What might happen if she doesn't get a lawyer?

14:42 here - oh and make her pay for 100% of it.

Rephrase - SHE needs a lawyer. At 19, its not we anymore.

Make her take responsibility for this. She'll learn from it that way.

If she is 19 then I would say yes.

Op here -- thanks, she is 19. Just wondering if a lawyer is necessary since it is a civil citation.

Is the offender under 18?

Same experience here and it happened in Carroll county. Is she a minor?

Having just been a Merriweather I am shocked anyone gets busted there. The pot smoking and drinking by under aged kids was ridiculous. Man do I sound old.

Sorry OP, no help but I would at least consult a lawyer to be safe.

Any suggestions on how to handle a civil citation? Do I need to get lawyer?
