Each contractor will likely have very different recommendations for the work, which they will probably only express freely to you if no one else is there. It's more of a hassle, but you will learn a lot from each contractor's perspective.

Is it okay to have two general contractors walkthrough your home at the same to bid on a renovation project? My husband thinks it will be weird but I think it will be more efficient to have 2 or 3 gc's visit at the same time.
