For flights that long I find I need lip balm and eye drops and sometimes a bit of moisturizer.

Clean undies (full clean outfit, dependening on what you are doing when you arrive).
For a redeye, I bring a really warm fleece and a blanket, but I get cold (not actually a blanket--I have a silk knit sleeping bag liner, which packs super small).
Water bottles (empty) -- fill once you are through security
External battery for your phone, phone charger
Couple of granola bars. Dark chocolate.
Books, headphones.

Excellent list here, especially the toothbrush / toothpaste and clean underwear.

If possible, I like to take at least one active thing to do - needlepoint, embroidery, even coloring. I get bored reading or staring at a screen, and it hurts my eyes after a while.

Dress in layers. Wear or bring something comfy for napping, like sweats. Warm socks.

noise cancellation headphones and battery pack for your phone (many planes now have USB charge point but just to be safe). A fleece just in case you get cold. Face mask for sleep.

Make sure you have your own headphones, too -- for the inflight entertainment system.

Make sure you buy a big bottle of water once you get past security. They never come around enough on long flights. I also pack almonds for a snack when I get hungry. Otherwise, just my Kindle, my iPhone, and my charger (many planes now have charging ports in the seats).

I usually wear long pants, socks and shoes. I get cold on long flights. I bring a fleece as well.

Compression socks, sleeping pill like Tylenol pm, portable DVD player and a couple movies because you never know if the seat back thing will work or not, nook with a fresh book and a couple magazines, I also like to bring a Games World of Puzzles magazine, pencil and pen, journal and/or notebook, my itinerary and any prepaid tickets to avoid the risk of them getting lost in luggage, toiletries, light blanket...

Lip balm. Book. Cardigan. Socks. Tylenol.

You should be able to get a pillow and blanket on board. But those neck pillows are good.

I'd pack the same things I'd pack for a cross-country flight, and then add like, two more snacks.

I think noise canceling headphones are worth every penny, and dressing in layers is very important if you're sensitive to temperatures outside your norms. Those little neck pillows are great even though my DH always makes fun of me.

Yes, and blanket, too. They never have enough on the flights.

I haven't been on a flight longer than 3 hours in a decade. Though I'm traveling by myself, 11 hours on a plane is a damn long time, and looking for your best packing tips and suggestions for a super long flight. It is direct, but obviously it's international so there will be added customs/immigration time.

What are your best long flight recommendations??
