I still don't like her character at all, but her backstory was interesting and explained a lot.

I don't like her character either. She was so mean to So-So (sp?). In fact, even though So-So's character was initially so annoying, the last episode, after she overdosed, was heartbreaking. You can just feel her hopelessness.

I think Piper is the least likeable character.

I am not finished with Season 3 yet (episode 12 and 13 left) but I don't think we have a backstory on Stella.

I like season 3 for the backstories but it felt a little lackluster compared to season 2 and the Vee storyline.

A different question. What was the back story on Stella (was that her name??) the australian girl? maye I wasn't paynig attention but she seemed to just show up one day in the epsidoe where they all got jobs in the sewing factory. Too random. I didn't like her too much.

I thought that was a great, layered way to bring in her backstory.

Good catch! Do you remember when that was/context? I'm sure when I saw it I probably just assumed she had taken German in high school or something.

that's what i assumed too. left so her family wouldn't be shunned for her actions. then got back in w/the meth crowd.
