I do it. I have thinning enamel, so my dentist recommends it. I think it's worth it.

I had it done for exposed root/eroded enamel and resulting sensitivity and it did help. They said I would need to do it regularly but I only did it once or twice and now I don't have the sensitivity anymore.

It's $25? I would say just do it. Can't hurt.

My new dentist recommended it for healthy teeth and sensitivity, she made a mess when she applied it though, I had fluoride all over my gums and lips.

I do it to avoid cavities since I don't drink fluoridated water.

It's not that expensive and it can help to strengthen teeth. Old age will be a lot better if your teeth are healthy!

The latest dentist I visited wanted me to buy fluoride and use it daily (I moved here two years ago and have not found a trustworthy dentist yet). I have no problems doing so, but he also wanted to do all sorts of fillings that seemed unnecessary (they're cosmetic where the gun line is starting to recede). I am so skeptical of anything dentists say now.

I had the same thing and did the fluoride treatment. It was maybe $35 for me. I dunno if it helped or not.

My dentist recommended fluoride treatment for exposed tooth's root due to receding gums. Insurance does not cover the treatment. Beneficial? Worth it to pay $25 for the treatment.
