I don't know if it is a cyst...but what I do know for sure is that you had every reason to be a little freaked out.

Bleeding during sexual intercourse is not normal and I strongly advise you to see your M.D. stat. Don't let this wait...Make it a priority.

Please keep us posted on the outcome. We will be thinking of you.

Go to the doctor. Bleeding during/after sex was what gave away cervical cancer for me. I just skipped over that whole abnormal pap stage. The doctor said it's rare to happen that quickly, but very good I came in when I did instead of waiting.

It's not a cyst, believe me.

Periods can come early, although irregular cycles need to be checked out.

Consult your OB, please.

OMG. Go to the OB, seriously. If it wasn't your period then something is wrong with you. Even if you were being torn a little from not enough lube or whatever, that doesn't cause bleeding like a period. A ruptured cyst does not cause bleeding that. Stop being embarrassed and get to the doctor ASAP.

I bleed every time I have sex. OB said I'm very tight-even after kids. I insert a dildo nightly to stretch myself. I'm
Not kidding.

I wouldn't date or sleep with a guy who freaked out about blood. Sounds like he could be a good catch

Never heard of that happening with a cyst. They're usually filled with fluid or mucus, not blood. Go to the OB.

And I meant to add, if you don't think it's your period, then just worry about getting that taken care of, not any mortification.

How old are you both? By the time you reach your 30's this has happened to most guys at least once. Apologize but take his lead and don't make it a big deal.

He seemed fine and was trying to console you? I would go with that and tell myself he is a good guy, a mature guy that understands things happen.
Does he know it's not your period and something else? Im sure he feels badly and hopes he didn't hurt you.
So sorry OP, but sounds like he (and you) handled it ok.
I can't speak to what may have caused it

Honestly, you may want to get that check-out.

How mortified should I be that as I was having sex with on a my 3rd date with a guy I liked that he had to stop me because I was bleeding all over him? It was only our second time doing it. I'm so so so so mortified. He seemed fine and told me to calm down. What's more curious is that I don't think it was menstrial blood. Is it possible that he popped a cyst inside me?
