Subject: How easy/hard is it to add recessed lights to a room that already has 1 such light?
Dayom $300 per light?! That seems very steep to me. I'd just DIY it at that price. It's not a hard job, especially if you already have an existing light you're just tapping the power from.

Seems about right. And depending on a few factors - where studs are, which direction they run, etc. - you may have a few drywall holes to patch.

So my kitchen, very weirdly, has only one little lonely recessed light fixture. It is very oddly placed and does not give off enough light. I am considering adding about 3 other fixtures to make the kitchen well lit at night. Is this an easy job for an electrician since there is already a light and switch there?
