OP - the financial people at GW are great. Give them a call with your questions - they can give you their basic estimate sheet and explain your insurance coverage. I did not think I had any insurance coverage, but the folks at GW are much better versed in this than I am - turns out all my monitoring was covered with a small copay, so I just paid for procedures + meds. It's not nothing, but every bit helps!

I don't know the answer to that because we were covered by insurance, but we did see the "explanation of benefits" statement and I think all in with meds fresh cycle would be around 15K and one frozen would be around 5K. Even with insurance, we had to pay $1500 to thaw the embryo for a frozen cycle. But I would estimate about 15K and 5K all in, but others who paid out of pocket may have a different perspective (remember that with the "shared risk" at a place like shady grove, that cost doesn't include meds which can be about 5K a cycle).

No. But if you go through multiple cycles, they will start to knock some extra fees off for you. But there is no shared risk program there.
