How old is DC? US Kids aftern has spaces available for 3 and up. Great program!

I have a young toddler, and we are trying to find the best place for him.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!

Have you found a spot? The GWU just opened a new center (looks like their infant spots are filled but you might have better luck with a toddler) on K street in my building and I've heard great things about it from my co worker who has an infant in their school. I went down to visit her son during lunch sometime and these babies were in their diaper playing with paints! Never thought to do that with babies. I gave up on finding a spot for our newborn.

12:52 here. Not necessarily. We got offered spots at both with a young toddler.

agreed. In DC, public PK starts at age 3, so there are often a lot of spots in 3 and 4 year old classes downtown. Not sure about 1s and 2s but it doesn't hurt to get on the waitlist!

My DS is at the DOT Child Development Center at the FAA building and he loves going to school every day! We also love sending him there. It is a great center with amazing teachers! I would highly recommend this center, however the waitlist is VERY long. I got on the list 6 months before I was pregnant with my DS and we just got a spot there in January!
