OP, if you are in APS, note that the deadline varies by school. This week's Taylor PTA newsletter says the school supplies lists won't even be published until sometime "in the next few weeks," at which point parents can order the PTA kits online if they choose. In my experience, it is cheaper to buy the PTA kit than to do it myself.
