OP what about yourself? Isn't she more likely to follow your growth pattern than any other woman in the world?

DD got her period at 13 and grew 2" after that. She's 18 now and 5'9"; we're pretty sure she's stopped growing. DH is 6'0"; I''m 5'3"; though my sisters are 5'5" and 5'6" .

Got hers at 11 and grew 4 more inches. She's 5'4"

Got my period at 13 and I was probably 5'1". Ended up 5'7".

Similar experience for me. Started high school at 4'10" and finished at 5'6". Added a couple more in college. And very late on my period, 15, nearly 16.

My cousin grew 8 inches, but I don't think that was the norm. She also got her period very late - at 16.

I've heard that after the start of menstruation, the body stops producing the hormone that says "grow." However, it takes ~1.5 years for the growth plate to stop growing. So...theoretically she has another 1.5 years of growing. I've also heard from other woment that they stopped growing and then grew another inch or 2 in college.

Your daughter sounds exactly like me, except my parents were normal height, not particularly tall.

5', got my period at 10, and only grew 1/2 inch or so after that.

I was wondering that myself. DD is 13 (and a half) but no period yet. She is 5.3. Not many tall genes in family and thinking she will land about 5.5. Just curious. I grew before period but DDs friend mostly grew right after.

I grew two more inches after my first period (13 when I got my period).

She will probably not grow much more. She is an eary bloomer.

I grew about 2.5 inches after period.

My dd just started and she is only 10, and 5'0. Dh and I are both very tall, and she has always been tall on the growth charts.
