I agree that unless the person is willing to show up to inspect and purchase the item in person, they are either wasting your time or trying to scam you. Tell them that their best option is to rent a truck themselves and drive it down.

When i bought a large item off of CL, it was my responsibility to move it. Seller requested cash only payment on the date of the move. DH and I drove up, rented U Haul one way, and moved it ourselves. If we had needed more muscle, we would have hired it when we got there.

This is not a serious buyer. What the game is IDK but this person does not need to look 2 states away for a curio cabinet (no matter how nice; I'm not disrespecting your cabinet). Proceed with caution.

We are trying to sell a large Henredon curio cabinet and someone in NJ is interested in it and asking for recommendations for moving/shipping companies. Any suggestions how to get it from MD to NJ? It is a very heavy lighted cabinet with adjustable glass shelves, glass front, etc.
