So far we have had a fantastic experience with Elfa. A lady came and met with us, emailed proposed layouts, and now we are awaiting installation. She did all our closets plus laundry room.

If you don't want to spend the money for Elfa, Rubbermaid is very similar and durable. You just have to plan out the components.

Closet maid but don't get the fake dark wood - we got some years ago and loved it. Went to buy more recently and they sucked. It chipped and was poorly made. Get the white.

Elfa is great. Although, I just installed Rubbermaid and it changed my life. For reals.

Love Elfa, but I definitely needed DH's help. There are other threads on the subject and they all comes back to Elfa.

I don't want to spend California Closet type money but we need some serious organizing in our new closets. What do people like - Elfa? IKEA? Any other closet companies out there I should check out?
