We got cellular that were longer. Looks fine. Just remains at the bottom and is barely noticeable. Just get cordless if you have kids.

I have one window in my house that I need blinds for that is a standard width, but not a standard length. It is 36" wide by 36" long. I'm open to a mini blind or a cellular shade. I really don't want to have to pay the extra price for a custom shade. Is there anywhere locally where I can buy one off the shelf that can be easily shortened to work for my length? All of the stock blinds that I've found are 50"-60" long.
