Tree through the roof = use insurance

Plaster and paint? Don't call.

Insurance is for the things you can't pay for yourself, not the things you don't want to pay for.

Is it just drywall and a little insulation?

I would think the deductable would be more thwn tue drywal repair, esp if you are getting a new roof in a week.

We had water come in through our roof and through the plaster ceiling today. Should we make a claim with our homeowners insurance or is that a bad idea?

Roof is being replaced next week. Such annoying timing.
