I am the OP of the aforementioned threads and it's not me. I decided to pursue further education to work in a pharmaceutical function.

Nope but it will be a haul and might be a challenge to get into a good school. Check out what pre reqs you need if you did not do pre med. any kids? Spouse on board? It can be tough on them.

I think that's a great age to be a doctor. You've been out in the working world a bit and you know what you want and how to deal with people. I think a lot of doctors seem to have a bubble mentality.

If you don't have children, then yes.
If you have children - only if their college education is already paid for.

No, but do some research on what it will take, assuming you weren't pre-med as an undergraduate. Med school isn't like law school - you are expected to know some stuff going in.
